There are currently no imminent nuclear threats at this time.
Japan plans to deploy Ground Self-Defence Force missile units with 500 to 600 personnel on Ishigakijima island. Additionally, Japan and India are to conduct the first ever air combat exercises in which it will also be the first time that Japanese pilots will be tested against Russian-designed fighter jets.
Russia and China continue to hold military exercises together. 3,000 Russian and Chinese troops have taken part in the Sibu-Interaction 2021 exercise, marking the first time that such joint strategic military drills are held in China. Russia has also signed a military cooperation Pact with Nigeria.
Afghanistan falls to Taliban, opening up a new territory for attacks against Israel. The United States looks weak after Afghanistan routes to Taliban. The U.S. Border Patrol chief warns that enemy agents are entering the United States at unprecedented levels. Refugees from Afghanistan are being admitted to the U.S. unvetted, and some warn that militants are mixed in to the groups.
Iran has configured a new operational mode for the production of UF6 enriched up to 60 percent U-235.
Chinese military projects an increase by nearly four times over the past year. Analysts have concluded that China has improved the accuracy of its missile force.
The IAEA reports that North Korea appears to have restarted the Yongbyon nuclear plant and that that there is possible reprocessing work to separate plutonium from spent reactor fuel that could be used in nuclear weapons.
