DEFCON Warning System Desktop App

For Windows 7, 8.1, and 10.  Displays current alert status on your taskbar and DEFCON tweets in your Message Centre. Updates every 10 minuets. Optionally sounds an alert tone and generates a pop-up when the alert level is upgraded.  The DEFCON Warning System Desktop App is the first to be updated when the alert condition is changed. If you want the quickest notification when the Alert Condition changes, this is what you want.

DEFCON Warning System Android Widget

This app will poll the server every 10 minutes and display the current alert code. If code is upgraded when widget is running, it will sound an alert. App uses very little bandwidth as it only downloads a single byte every 10 minutes, but there is overhead with that. Our estimate is that it will download less than 1K per hour if it is running constantly.

DEFCON Alert Box

The image updates to the current DEFCON level. To put the above on your website, use the following code:

© 2024 The DEFCON Warning System. Established 1984.

The DEFCON Warning System is a private intelligence organization which has monitored and assessed nuclear threats by national entities since 1984. It is not affiliated with any government agency and does not represent the alert status of any military branch. The public should make their own evaluations and not rely on the DEFCON Warning System for any strategic planning. At all times, citizens are urged to learn what steps to take in the event of a nuclear attack.
