Iran Crisis – DEFCON 4 Announcement

This is The DEFCON Warning System.

Alert status for 12 AM, UTC, 15 January 2026:

Condition Blue. DEFCON 4.

There are currently no imminent nuclear threats at this time. However, there are events occurring in the world theatre which require closer monitoring.

Iran is currently undergoing a significant threat to its government, and there are signals that the United States intends to attack in support of the rebellion.

As Iran is known to have at least engaged in nuclear weapons research — and some believe that Iran actually has at least one nuclear weapons — there is concern that Iran’s government may decide to utilise a nuclear device in the event of possible regime collapse. This could be a nuclear bomb or a dirty bomb.

Potential targets include Israel or Iran itself, the government possibly considering use against a hub of internal rebellion. Citizens in potential target areas are advised to take appropriate cautions.

It must be stated in no unclear terms that there is no sign Iran intends to use a nuclear weapon. This is merely advisory. The public is urged to monitor events occurring in the Iranian theatre and be aware of potential emerging threats.

The DEFCON Warning System is a private intelligence organization which has monitored and assessed nuclear threats by national entities since 1984.
